... Žumberk is situated in the valley of Svinenský stream by the village Trhové Sviny, is an ideal area for walking and cycling tours to eye-opening beauty Novohradské Moutains.
The area Novohraské Mountains is a famous place for its beautiful and save nature. An indirect proof it is an existence of crab potamic (Astacus astacus) in the Svinenský stream. You can see it also direct in the scout center range.
Žumberk is only summer campsite at the moment, but we would like to put it in whole year operation in the future. It is in operation from 1st May to 30th September.
The center is ready for weekend activities, training courses and summer camps.
